The Visionaries Behind Punta Gabriela
Jesse and I are native Floridians, introduced by mutual friends in April 2003, and, hand-in-hand, we fell in love on the dark, sandy shores of Costa Rica. Within two years, we married at sunset under the famous Almendro Tree in Playa Hermosa.
One day, while traveling in Dominical, we came across a challenging piece of land: it was slightly unkempt, and the grass was to our knees, but the views captured our souls. That’s where we built Punta Gabriela.
To the North, the coastline stretches to Quepos/Manuel Antonio. To the South are Dominicalito Bay and the Osa Peninsula. Behind us lies the jungle; in front of us, 180 degrees of ocean and horizon.
